We are seeking a Laboratory Cadet to join our team in Taupo, New Zealand. As a Laboratory Cadet, you will support the testing of engineering materials in both laboratory and field environments. This role involves routine materials testing, site investigations, accurately documenting and reporting testing activities, and completing work safely and efficiently.
No previous laboratory experience is necessary for this role. You will work alongside laboratory colleagues and interact with clients, with travel required as needed.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A background in a trade, construction, labouring, or another physically active work environment
- Practical, hands-on experience and a safety-focused approach to work
- NCEA Level 3 Mathematics and English
- A current, clean driver's licence
- New Zealand working rights
