Description
Diageo is seeking a Utilities & Hard Services Engineer to oversee the safe, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective operation of utilities and hard services at their Huntingwood manufacturing site in Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing long-term utilities and infrastructure strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving sustainability initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the performance, reliability, compliance, and risk of utilities infrastructure
- Developing and implementing long-term asset strategies and capital projects
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, environmental, and Diageo standards
- Leading utility performance monitoring, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Providing technical leadership across contractors and suppliers
- Partnering with operations, asset care, and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in utilities, hard services, or industrial infrastructure, preferably in beverage or FMCG manufacturing. Strong analytical skills, experience with SAP, Power BI, and advanced Excel, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
