As a Target Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in keeping our guests, team, and brand secure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing a welcoming and secure environment for our guests and team members
• Responding to and documenting security incidents in a timely manner
• Using intelligence-led tactics to prevent and resolve theft and fraud
• Conducting merchandise theft recoveries and providing theft apprehension support as needed
• Promoting a physical security culture throughout the store
• Working collaboratively with team members and external partners to achieve security goals

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to lift merchandise up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to use technology equipment, such as handheld scanners and video surveillance systems
