Description
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract role for a Digital Designer (UX/UI) with DEPT®, a Growth Invention company. The successful candidate will join the Global Studios team, creating emotive and conversion-focused digital communications at scale and speed.
The role involves integrating UX and UI practices, with an emphasis on technical design execution of complex AI platforms. You will build functional, beautifully crafted systems that facilitate meaningful user interaction with AI.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing scalable design systems and frameworks for AI-driven products
- Creating high-fidelity visual systems merging brand identity with user experience
- Designing motion-based prototypes to establish interaction patterns and system feedback
- Supporting design projects from initial concept to final delivery
- Working closely with developers to ensure precise implementation of motion and UI details
- Presenting design logic to project stakeholders via Figma designs
The ideal candidate will have:
- Digital design experience in a fast-paced agency environment focusing on web, mobile, motion, and marketing assets
- UI skills using Figma with a UX mindset
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft across UI and interaction design
- Experience leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows and deliver high-quality design work efficiently
- A background in creating digital products balancing aesthetic beauty with functional logic
- Experience creating highly interactive digital experiences with attention to visual detail and execution
- Clear communication skills for internal collaboration and client presentations
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 CAD.
