Description
We are seeking a Sr Merchandise Specialist to join our dynamic team at Target. As a Sr Merchandise Specialist, you will provide key executional support to both our merchandise buying and planning teams. You will be integral to new vendor setup and to maintaining item and vendor data across many SKUs. You will proactively communicate on behalf of the department in meetings and via email, acting as the liaison for Import Operations, Transportation, Store Ops and vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Provide key executional support to merchandise buying and planning teams
- Maintain item and vendor data across many SKUs
- Communicate proactively on behalf of the department
- Coordinate samples and solve problems with supply chain partners
Requirements:
- Four-year degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Detail-oriented multitasker
- High sense of urgency and takes initiative as a self-starter
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
