Description
We are looking for a Business Systems Engineer to own the systems that turn a signed deal into a correct invoice and accurate revenue numbers. You will work across our go-to-market and finance stack: CRM, quoting and CPQ, billing, the data warehouse, and the integrations between them.
Responsibilities:
- Create a reliable GTM and quote-to-cash foundation across CRM, CPQ, billing and finance systems, marketing automation infrastructure, the data warehouse, and the integrations between them.
- Build a clear understanding of the critical data flows between GTM systems, finance systems, and the warehouse, then ship an initial improvement to a high-value integration or workflow.
- Develop AI-powered and agent-based workflows that reduce manual work for reps, Deal Desk, and Billing Ops while improving the quality of signals available to reps and operators.
- Automate billing-critical workflows such as upgrades and prorated refunds, early renewals, true-ups, and credit deferment, with audit trails Finance can trust.
- Improve data integrity and reporting through clear data models, deduplication, validation rules, reconciliation, and monitoring.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in business systems engineering, GTM engineering, revenue operations, or a technical sales or marketing operations role.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with a data warehouse such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Experience building integrations with APIs, webhooks, event-driven services, reverse ETL, or automation platforms such as Zapier, Workato, or Tray.io.
- Familiarity with finance systems and concepts such as quote-to-cash, billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
- Hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, triggers, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce automation.
- Genuine curiosity about AI, with experience applying it to day-to-day work through AI-assisted development, agents, or workflow automation.
