As a Pharmacy Technician on our CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team, you will be leading an innovative and bold initiative aimed at transforming health care and pharmacy leveraging new and emerging information, technologies and channels.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure medication has been filled correctly
- Accurately enter prescription information as needed
- Contact patients to arrange delivery or set a pickup date
- Perform refill reminder calls
- Accurately fill medication orders
- Prepare orders for delivery
- Pack and ship medication orders via various carriers for final delivery to the patient
- Maintain adequate inventory
- Manage inventory functions
- Help walk-in customers
- Perform cash register transactions
- Lift and ship prescriptions up to 50 lbs
Requirements:
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of NC
- 6 months of pharmacy technician experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed a Pharmacy Technician Training Program and certified by a technician training program
- Worked in a lead role as a Pharmacy Technician
- Worked in Retail or Hospital Pharmacy for at least 2 years
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
