Zscaler is seeking a Software Architect - Java, API to join its team in Santa Clara, CA. The successful candidate will report to the Sr. Director, Software Engineering in the Zero Trust Exchange department.
The role involves shaping the future of Zscaler technology, particularly within the Zscaler Client Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and inspired individual who can support and assist in driving the visionary innovation of Zscaler over the next decade.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking the Zscaler Client Connector Cloud service to the next level in terms of reliability, availability, and scalability
- Being a key decision-maker for all things related to product architecture
- Collaborating closely with architects from other product areas on roadmaps
- Maintaining a positive culture and being a great teammate
The successful candidate will have:
- 15+ years of hands-on experience in application development using Java
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar discipline
- Expert-level technical knowledge in Enterprise Java, OOP, OOA, systems architecture, and RESTful APIs, Kubernetes, Microservices, and related frameworks
- Hands-on experience architecting and supporting highly scalable cloud-based solutions like AWS, GCP
- Experience with designing and implementing enterprise-grade Security or Networking products
Preferred qualifications include:
- Proven ability to leverage AI technologies and workflows to drive measurable operational efficiency
- MS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Experience with streaming data processing infrastructure and/or experience with identities and access management systems
The base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$310,000 USD.
