Description
As a Customer Delivery Driver at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd, you will be responsible for delivering customer orders to their doorsteps. You will drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, completing checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean, and organised, and that customers' shopping is secure before setting off. You will also communicate with customers, keeping them informed of any delays, dealing with customer queries, and any changes to their order.
The role requires you to be friendly and welcoming, with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers and taking pride in providing the best doorstep experience. You must be comfortable driving a larger vehicle safely in different locations and working in a fast-paced, physical, and high-energy environment.
