We are seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at CVS Health in Southbridge, MA.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care to our patients every day. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for ensuring that all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients. Your duties will include managing assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks, providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations, and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks over a period of time without being distracted
- Excellent customer service skills to help people in a friendly manner
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
- Mathematical reasoning to solve problems, such as calculating day's supply of a prescription
- Problem resolution skills to judge when something is wrong and choose the best course of action
Physical demands of the job include:
- Remaining upright on feet for sustained periods
- Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks
- Picking, pinching, typing, or working primarily with fingers
- Extending hands and arms in any direction
- Bending, stooping, and lifting up to 30 lbs
