Description
Snyk is hiring a Senior Implementation Consultant to own post-sales onboarding for enterprise customers, taking them from signed contract to a working, adopted application security program.
You will run multiple implementation engagements at once, partnering directly with development and security leaders to deploy the Snyk platform across their SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise customer implementations, from kick-off through closure, including scope, schedule, risk, and outcomes.
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder onboarding engagements simultaneously, setting the plan and driving it to completion with limited oversight.
- Partner with development and security leaders at customer organizations to design a Snyk rollout that fits their SDLC, CI/CD tooling, and cloud environment.
- Run project kick-offs, planning sessions, and recurring delivery reviews, keeping stakeholders current on status, dependencies, and risk at every phase.
- Represent the customer's technical requirements back to Snyk's internal teams, and translate Snyk's platform capabilities into terms a customer's engineering org can act on.
- Improve and scale Snyk's onboarding practice by building repeatable playbooks, templates, and technical assets other consultants adopt.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Support to unblock implementations and accelerate time to value.
- Troubleshoot integration and configuration issues hands-on across source control, CI/CD, container, and cloud environments.
- Coach customer teams on developer-first security practices so adoption sticks after the engagement ends.
- Feed patterns from the field back into product and enablement, so recurring friction gets fixed at the source rather than solved one customer at a time.
Requirements
- 5+ years in technical consulting, professional services, or another customer-facing technical role, including hands-on SaaS software implementation.
- Working knowledge of the SDLC and modern DevOps methodologies, and a clear view of where security fits into both.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tooling (for example Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes).
- A track record of running multiple concurrent customer engagements: scoping, sequencing, and delivering them on schedule.
- The ability to explain complex technical issues clearly to audiences ranging from individual developers to security executives.
- Genuine interest in application security and conviction that a developer-first approach is the right way to solve it.
- Consultative aptitude for bringing people, technology, and process together, with strong relationship-building and project management instincts.
- Working fluency with AI-assisted tools (Claude, Gemini, or similar) and comfort with how AI-generated code is changing what customers need to secure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, plus an organized and disciplined approach to problem solving.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in a scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, or another modern language.
- Prior experience as a solutions architect, sales engineer, or technical account manager for AppSec, CI, or DevSecOps products.
- A security certification such as CISSP, CSSLP, or CEH.
- A Computer Science degree or equivalent programming background, and exposure to enterprise-scale web technologies and microservices.
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
