Description
Spire London East Hospital are looking for a Bank Chef de Partie to join our Catering team on a flexible bank basis. This role will cover annual leave, sickness and busy periods, with shifts available between 8am – 8pm, including some weekends.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting with the preparation and cooking of meals
- Delivering food service to patients, staff and visitors
- Assisting with food orders and dietary requirements
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Supporting with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
- Following food safety and health & safety procedures
- Assisting with cleaning and general kitchen duties
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant qualification
- Previous experience working within a kitchen environment
- Experience preparing meals for large numbers
- Good communication skills and a professional approach
- Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
