Description
We are seeking a Proposals Manager (Rail) to join our team in London, Guildford, or Manchester. As a Proposals Manager, you will play a key role in the development and submission of high-quality proposals to win new rail projects.
The Proposals Manager role forms part of a dedicated Rail Business Development and Proposals team, responsible for all aspects of work winning across the Rail business unit. You will coordinate the interfaces between business leaders, technical staff, and others in the proposals team to produce compelling proposals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the work winning lifecycle from capture to contract award
- Leading the development of win strategies and producing tender plans
- Managing written responses and facilitating reviews
- Ensuring the final submission is delivered effectively
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent command of language for editing and proofing text
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Robust organisational and project management skills
In terms of technical skills, you will need:
- Knowledge of standard private and public sector proposal processes
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe suite, and InDesign
- Excellent research and analytical skills
