Description
Spire Bristol Hospital are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join their fantastic team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting Registered Nurses on the department, providing basic nursing care to patients, including observations, ECG's, and Phlebotomy.
The role requires 22.5 hours per week, with department working hours from 7am-9pm, Monday to Friday. Previous hospital experience is desirable, as well as Phlebotomy training, although training can be provided.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing a caring support service to patients
- Basic nursing care in conjunction with qualified nurses
- Observations, ECG's, and Phlebotomy
- Admin duties, particularly echo and cath lab bookings
Requirements:
- Previous hospital experience
- NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care
- Excellent customer service and caring demeanour
- Excellent admin skills
