Description
TaskUs is seeking a Physical Safety and Security Manager to oversee the implementation of environmental health and safety strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing risk reduction policies and practices, as well as providing day-to-day support for all company operations and locations within their geographic area of responsibility.
The Physical Safety and Security Manager will prioritize the welfare and wellbeing of each employee, ensuring that they go home safe and sound. This involves partnering with Operations and senior-level decision makers to ensure employee safety and security, as well as providing necessary training to drive innovative thinking and high-quality technical project management capability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing necessary training to drive innovative thinking and high-quality technical project management capability
- Ensuring the team can apply market knowledge, customer insights, and technical knowledge for site project execution and development
- Partnering with Operations and senior-level decision makers to ensure employee safety and security
- Submitting weekly and monthly reports identifying potential issues and escalating critical issues immediately to management
- Attending regular Leadership Meetings and holding regular calibration sessions with assigned teams
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Business, or related subjects
- Ability to express ideas, analysis, findings, and formulate recommendations through clear and effective written and verbal communications
- Previous experience in Physical Security or Public Service
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including being sensitive and tactful
- Charisma and passion for the welfare of people
- Capability of good judgment and critical thinking when faced with actual disasters
- Experience with solving complex problems, preferably with previous experience with actual disaster response
- OSHA certification
- 2-3 years of experience and background working on Public Safety, Red Cross Training, or related safety trainings
- Good knowledge of security and environment hazards
