Description
We are seeking a Production Support Analyst to join our Front Office facing Trading and Risk group. You will provide 1st and 2nd line support and enhancement to our electronically traded products and associated infrastructure solutions for trading execution.
You will be responsible for facing off to traders, risk managers and external clients, providing Application Support Analyst expertise, increasing systems performance, automation, infrastructure systems deployment, extensions and analysis of the implementation and integration requirements for the global trading system.
You will be expected to hold some understanding of production environments across large scale distributed global systems gained from either an Investment Bank, Software House, Global Telco, FinTech, Hedge Fund or comparable environment utilizing Unix / Linux.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing application support analyst expertise to traders, risk managers and external clients
- Increasing systems performance, automation, infrastructure systems deployment, extensions and analysis of the implementation and integration requirements for the global trading system
- Utilizing Unix / Linux scripting and Python scripting skills
- Working with CI/CD and database manipulation in SQL
- Monitoring applications and having a desire to learn / appreciation of Devops and automation tools
