Description
Diageo Canada Inc is seeking a Director - Bottling & Logistics for our site located in Valleyfield. As a Director, you will lead your team and manage the operations of the bottling & logistics department, ensuring the best possible performance while following established best practices. You will be responsible for the health and safety of employees in your department, product quality, operating costs, and efficiency of related lines and operations.
Key objectives:
- Ensure health, safety, quality, and environmental standards are met
- Develop a clear strategy for bottling and yield targets aligned with the site's mission and supply chain vision for North America
- Prepare and manage operational budgets
- Produce performance reports and explain variances
- Ensure production plans meet customer orders and inventory targets
- Optimize logistics and ensure faultless service to customers
- Implement best practices and new systems and technologies to drive improvements
- Develop and coach production supervisors to achieve strategic objectives
- Foster a culture of engagement and high performance within the team
- Develop a solid investment plan for asset replacement and growth
- Participate in or lead major projects supporting the site's strategic plan
- Demonstrate rigor and transparency to ensure effective governance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, food science, chemistry, operations management, or equivalent experience and education
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, including 3 years in department management
- Excellent execution agility with continuous improvement tools and best practices
- Strong leadership and management skills

- Effective communication and influencing skills
- Bilingual (French and English)
