Description
Freshfields LLP, a leading Anglo-Saxon Magic Circle law firm, is seeking an Associate Lawyer to join its dynamic Finance team in Paris.
You will work on various transactions, including corporate treasury, acquisition finance, leveraged finance, infrastructure finance, and restructuring, alongside a team of around 40 lawyers.
As a key member of the team, you will be fully integrated into the handling of cases and collaborate closely with other practice groups, such as Corporate, Tax, and Employment, as well as with foreign offices.
You will have the opportunity to work on high-profile cases covering all areas of finance with a diverse range of clients.
Your Profile: You are looking for your first or second associate position in Finance and hold the CAPA (professional lawyer's certification) or are about to obtain it. You have an excellent academic background in business law, possibly accompanied by a diploma from an Institute of Political Studies/Business School and/or an LLM. You have completed internships and/or have had a first work experience in the finance team of a reputable law firm. You have a very good level of written and spoken English and want to work in an international environment. You are motivated, proactive, friendly, and eager to develop your expertise in a stimulating environment by working on a variety of files.
