Description
This job focuses on owning a defined area of an enterprise data platform that serves as the system of record for customer, session, and transaction data across multiple brands.
Responsibilities include:
- Gathering client and engineering needs to define clear product requirements
- Analyzing platform usage, data quality, and performance metrics to guide prioritization
- Managing the product roadmap, leading planning, delivery tracking, and retrospectives
- Driving client and data migrations from legacy systems to a cloud-native platform
- Monitoring platform health, adoption, and budget
- Collaborating with engineering, architecture, data governance, privacy, security, and client teams to resolve dependencies and risks
Requirements:
- 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with cloud data architecture, especially Google Cloud Platform
- Hands-on understanding of data platform concepts such as system of record design, entity resolution, data modeling, federated data architecture, API design, and caching and consistency tradeoffs
Preferred qualifications:
- 6 or more years of product management experience, including ownership of a data platform, data infrastructure, or developer-facing product at enterprise scale
- Experience leading large data or system migrations
- Background in payments, fintech, risk, or financial services data
