Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack

Okta is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Technology Data and Intelligence (TDI) team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience with modern front-end and back-end technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications
• Contribute to architectural decisions, API design, database schema modeling, and system integrations
• Lead technical projects, conduct thorough code reviews, and mentor junior/mid-level engineers
• Collaborate with Product Management, UX/UI designers, and Stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical specifications
• Identify bottlenecks, optimize application performance, and troubleshoot complex production issues
• Support the automation of deployment pipelines and contribute to the cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with hands-on development and design experience
• Experience working with Java, NodeJs, Typescript, AWS, React, Scripting Languages (Python, Shell, Kotlin), Databases (DynamoDB, PostGreSQL), Terraform, Serverless architecture, and Unit Testing Frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
• Experience working on latest AI technologies is a plus
• Leadership and influence over the design, implementation, and support of POCs
• Experience coaching and developing individuals for increased effectiveness and working with a geographically dispersed workforce is a plus
• Willingness to learn and master unfamiliar technologies and/or concepts
• Excellent verbal and written technical documentation skills
