Description
We are seeking an Assistant Vice President - Treasury Finance Tesco to oversee the financial aspects of trading activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the bank's trading book, maintenance of compliance with regulatory requirements, and provision of insights into trading performance.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile daily profit and loss (P&L) figures for trading desks to ensure they align with the valued positions in the trading book, investigating and resolving discrepancies between P&L figures.
- Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of trading risks, and report on these financial risks to senior colleagues.
- Maintain and analyse the bank’s trading data, ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and provide insights to traders and senior colleagues on trading performance.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to authorities, and provide support to external audits.
- Communicate complex financial information to traders, risk professionals, senior colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a coordinated approach to trading activities.

Requirements:
- Product control experience in Investment banking.
- In-depth knowledge of Financial products and markets.
- Good understanding of end-to-end processes of an Investment Bank (IB) and associated controls.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
Preferred skills:
- CFA / Masters in Finance / Financial Engineering.
- Good control awareness and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently with a spectrum of people from junior finance staff to front office business heads.
