Capital One is seeking a motivated professional for a Senior Analyst position within the Managerial Capital Team supporting Commercial business partners.
The Managerial Capital team serves as capital advisors guiding strategic choices on capital resilience for business partners. This role requires exceptional decision-making, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. A successful candidate must thrive in a collaborative and analytically dynamic environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation and execution of the Annual Managerial Capital Budget cycle.
- Leverage technology to drive data, process, and analytics automation initiatives.
- Become a managerial capital subject matter expert to build and maintain relationships with partner teams.
- Assist in evaluating the capital impact of new business strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in Python and SQL.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Strong critical thinking with the ability to flex among and balance changing priorities.
- Prior experience working effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with Google Suite.
- Experience working with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are: McLean, VA: $111,200 - $126,900 New York, NY: $121,300 - $138,400 Richmond, VA: $101,100 - $115,400
This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
