Description
We are seeking a Decontamination Unit Trainer to join our team at Circle Health Group Decontamination in Aylesford. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training programmes for decontamination staff, ensuring consistency and alignment with national and corporate standards.
The role involves providing effective 'hands-on' training to ensure staff competency and confidence in sterile services and endoscopy reprocessing, carrying out competency reviews, assessments, and revalidation of staff skills, and providing professional and teaching supervision, coaching, and mentoring to develop both new and experienced staff.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and planning skills, proven experience delivering training or teaching sessions, sound knowledge of sterile services and endoscopy reprocessing, awareness of decontamination legislation, standards, and best practice, and strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
