Business Systems Configuration Analyst I

The Business Systems Configuration Analyst I role at Select Health involves analysing, designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting healthcare platform software configurations.

You will review change requests to ensure consistency and compatibility with existing systems, troubleshoot configuration issues, and identify modifications needed to resolve them.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analysing straightforward business requirements and performing system configuration analysis, design, coding, and unit testing
• Developing or assisting with the development of prototype configurations to support solutions
• Collaborating with management to identify associated business processes needed
• Providing concise status updates and documenting the status of requests within a change management system
• Working independently on assignments and collaborating with a team

You will need to have:

• Two years of experience working with business systems or in healthcare, with a thorough understanding of claims processing and billing
• Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel
• Ability to run basic queries and reports
• Willingness to work outside core business hours to meet business needs

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with relational databases and data models
• Ability to design basic SQL queries
• Experience in a configuration analyst role

The hourly range for this position is $25.39 - $40.00.
