Description
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Salt Lake Clinic. As a Licensed Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing holistic medical and mental health services to patients. You will interview patients, administer diagnostic tests, and provide individual, family, or group psychotherapy. Collaborating with the behavioural health team, you will develop and implement evidence-based treatment and interventions.
Essential Functions:
- Assess patients' medical history, mental health history, and current presentation to understand their needs.
- Diagnose and treat various mental, emotional, and behavioural disorders using psychotherapy or psychological testing.
- Develop a plan of care in collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
- Provide treatment based on patient needs and evidence-based interventions.
- Refer patients to other services, such as community services, treatment programs, support groups, and psychiatrists.
- Document patients' plans of care accurately.
- Consult with the multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, behaviour plans, and discharge plans.
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current license as a psychologist in the state where patient care is delivered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PSYPACT eligible or PSYPACT authorization.
Salary: $52.12 - $80.42 per hour.
