Description
We are seeking a Corporate Actions Supervisor to lead and oversee Corporate Actions within Securities Operations. You will ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), manage team escalations, and provide expert guidance on complex settlement and asset transition requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Corporate Actions workflows, ensuring adherence to SLAs, handling team escalations, and providing technical support.
- Provide subject matter expertise on complex Corporate Actions handling.
- Liaise with counterparties on escalation matters.
- Oversee Corporate Actions Lifecycle Management, Unit Trust Distributions, and Stock and Cash Reconciliation.
- Drive process improvements, implement risk mitigation controls, and ensure transactions are processed in accordance with RBC policies and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise team members, allocate work, and ensure efficiency and leave coverage.
- Provide direction and guidance, address queries, and ensure prompt and accurate resolution of issues.
- Participate in strategic initiatives, continuous process improvements, and User Acceptance Testing.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a Securities Operations environment.
- Experience in managing people.
- In-depth knowledge of global practices in Corporate Actions.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Milvus, IMActions, or other Corporate Actions software and SWIFT standards.
