Description
Accor is a leading global hotel group with 38 brands and 5,000 hotels worldwide. We are seeking a Part Time Waiter to join our team in Antofagasta, Chile.
The main objective of this role is to provide excellent customer service in our restaurant, serving customers in accordance with our brand style. You will stimulate sales by ensuring the quality of products offered and following essential practices.
Key responsibilities:
- Greet and serve customers in the restaurant and bar areas
- Prepare and replenish buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and set up coffee breaks for events
- Take orders and serve food and drinks to customers
- Remove plates and utensils from tables after meals
- Actively promote and sell menu items, including desserts, coffee, and beverages
- Manage cash transactions and operate a point-of-sale system
- Maintain inventory levels and report on monthly stock usage
- Follow hygiene and food handling guidelines, and participate in training programs
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and provide support when needed
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Basic to intermediate English language skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service
- Attention to detail and discretion
- Familiarity with Office and Internet applications, and point-of-sale systems
