The Content Creator apprenticeship is designed to equip you with skills to plan and develop creative ideas, research target audiences, and produce audio, visual, and written content suitable for different channels.
As a Content Creator apprentice at BBC Radio Leeds, you'll assist in producing live radio programs, podcasts, and social media output, with a focus on sports content.
Your key responsibilities and impact:
- Create trusted, high-quality content for BBC audiences.
- Grow your storytelling skills through hands-on experience researching, writing, producing, and editing content.
- Develop your digital content skills by monitoring audience trends and creating content for social media platforms.
- Spot opportunities for digital content, including short clips, behind-the-scenes moments, interviews, and talent-led extras.
- Learn from experienced professionals and collaborate with expert teams.
You'll study for an industry-recognized apprenticeship qualification, learning both on and off the job. This includes attending learning blocks with a learning provider and working towards a Level 3 Content Creator qualification.
Eligibility criteria:
- Be 18 years old or over by September 2027.
- Have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years.
- Be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK.
- Not currently be enrolled in another apprenticeship program.
