As a Senior Manager, Product Finance, you will play a key role in building and owning the Finance view of Canva's gross margin by product and profitability by region.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining the gross margin model by product and the profitability model by region
- Owning the allocation methodologies that split revenue and cost across products and markets
- Working with Product leaders on the margin impact of launches, plan changes, and AI features
- Collaborating with Technology leaders to understand cost drivers and bring cost per task and utilisation insights into product margin
- Partnering with GTM and International FP&A leaders on regional profitability, pricing, packaging, and market-investment cases
- Writing margin commentary and presenting it to leaders and the CFO
- Building and maintaining queries and dashboards to answer leaders' questions
You will be working with a team that brings financial expertise to bear, enabling strategic decision making that drives topline growth, plotting the path from goals to execution through financial planning, driving financial rigour and prudent investment, delivering key insights that lead to meaningful action, and increasing the efficiency of operations.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of experience in FP&A, product finance, strategic finance, or business finance
- Proven expertise on margin and profitability questions
- Strong financial modelling skills, especially driver-based margin and allocation models
- A strong understanding of the cost structure of a subscription or consumer software business
- Strong data proficiency and daily comfort with a BI tool
- Confidence in influencing senior Product, Technology, and GTM leaders
- Fluent use of AI tools for model building and daily analytical work

The target salary range for this position is $180,000 to $260,000.
