We're looking for a Senior Mitigation Technician to join our Mitigation team working remotely. As a Senior Mitigation Specialist with previous team leading experience, you will work within our Mitigation team pursuing third parties, gaining their approval for the necessary vegetation measures. You'll work closely with our award-winning Subsidence Team to help prevent further damage occurring to their customer's property.
Responsibilities:
- Manage tree mitigation work to agreed service standards
- Provide updates to Subsidence Services
- Interpret instructions and documentation from Subsidence Services
- Interpret and comment on arboriculture reports, site investigation reports, soils analysis, and root evidence
- Form and maintain working relationships with third parties and local authorities
- Manage tree mitigation in accordance with specific protocols
- Ensure tree mitigation is handled in accordance with current statute
- Provide tree mitigation advice to Subsidence Services
- Deal with telephone calls and queries
- Raise invoices for work completed and deal with invoice queries
Requirements:
- Proven ability to lead and support teams in legal or insurance environments
- Demonstrable experience handling Fast Track litigation cases
- Resilience and adaptability
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Experience using computer-based claims handling systems
- Open to change and keen to embrace innovative ways of working
