Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at CVS Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering compassionate care to our patients and customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that prescriptions are filled accurately and efficiently, while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's ability to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions
• Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Take important steps to ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients

Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Licensure requirements vary by state
• Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks without distraction
• Customer service orientation with the ability to help people in a friendly manner
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
• Mathematical reasoning to solve problems, such as calculating day's supply of a prescription
• Ability to judge when something is wrong or likely to go wrong and choose the best course of action

Physical Demands:

• Remaining upright on feet for sustained periods
• Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks
• Picking, pinching, typing, or working primarily with fingers
• Extending hands and arms in any direction
• Bending body downward and forward
• Stooping to a considerable degree
• Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word
• Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels
• Visual acuity to perform activities such as transcribing and viewing a computer terminal
• Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• PTCB National Certification

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

Salary Range: $19.00 - $29.00 per hour
