Description
Adyen is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team in its Issuing organization, which enables businesses to monetize spend through digital and physical card issuance.
The Engineering Manager will drive the technical roadmap for establishing an issuing program, build and lead a high-performing team of engineers, and act as a technical leader and domain expert for the banking product.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the technical roadmap for the issuing program
- Building a best-in-class engineering team from the ground up
- Providing technical leadership and expertise for the banking product
- Collaborating with partners across engineering, product, commercial, and operations to deliver a best-in-class issuing product
- Coaching, mentoring, and building a high-performing team of engineers
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in people management
- Experience working in the FinTech domain with exposure to Issuing and/or Banking
- High technical bar and in-depth knowledge of building and scaling a world-class, API-based financial service
- Strong execution skills, effective communication, and stakeholder management
- Ability to lead complex projects involving multiple teams and external partners
The annual base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $243,000 in Chicago, plus RSUs.
