Context of the role The Golang Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Golang ecosystems. Success in this role means delivering efficient, scalable, and maintainable code while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy applications, ensuring high performance and security.
- Work on a new version of the platform in Golang.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Security and Infrastructure team, and Data Team to implement technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure best practices and code quality.
- Optimize application performance and scalability, addressing technical debt where necessary.
- Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring system stability and reliability.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing solutions.
