Description
Ajax Systems, a leading international technology company, is seeking a Consultant SAP DMC to focus on digitalizing production processes and implementing SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (SAP DMC).
The role involves analyzing production processes, setting up the system, integrating it with SAP ERP, and supporting production teams.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and develop SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (SAP DMC) solutions
- Analyze production processes, gather business requirements, and formalize them
- Model and describe production processes (AS-IS / TO-BE) and transform them into SAP DMC solutions
- Configure and set up the system (resources, work centers, routes, production scenarios)
- Integrate SAP DMC with SAP S/4HANA, ERP, and other production systems and equipment
- Prepare technical assignments, functional specifications, and decompose requirements into User Stories
- Collaborate with the development team, assign tasks, and control their execution
- Participate in the development and implementation of integrations (API, middleware, OPC, IoT solutions)
- Prepare test cases, conduct functional and integration testing
- Launch solutions into industrial operation (Go-Live), ensure their support and development
- Prepare user documentation and conduct training for production teams
- Initiate and implement improvements in production processes and digitalization (Industry 4.0)
Requirements:
- Higher technical education (automation, IT, production, engineering) or economic education with a technical background
- At least 2 years of experience as a consultant or system analyst in MES, SAP, or industrial automation projects
- Understanding of production processes (discrete or continuous production)
- Experience with MES systems (SAP DMC, SAP ME/MII, Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell, Ignition, etc.) is an advantage
- Experience in gathering, analyzing, and formalizing business requirements
- Experience in preparing technical assignments, functional documentation, and User Stories
- Basic understanding of integrations (API, REST, middleware, OPC UA, IoT)
- Understanding of SAP ERP / SAP S/4HANA principles is an advantage
- Analytical thinking, systematic approach, and ability to work with stakeholders
- English language proficiency at Intermediate level or higher
