Description
We are seeking a collaborative hospitalist to join our inpatient team rotating at hospitals throughout the Salt Lake Valley. As a hospitalist, you will provide direct inpatient care with the assistance of a nurse coordinator and participate in our teaching service to provide clinical education to internal medicine residents and medical students.
This position includes a $15,000 starting bonus, relocation assistance, and a Value Recognition Payment of up to $20,000 annually based on meeting quality goals and achieving high standards in performance reviews.
You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT, a quaternary care academic hospital, as well as at Alta View Hospital in Sandy, UT, and LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct inpatient care to patients at various hospitals in the Salt Lake Valley
- Participate in teaching service to provide clinical education to internal medicine residents and medical students
- Collaborate with nurse coordinators and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Successful completion of an ACGME Accredited US Residency Training Program
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Current BLS Certification is required before the first day of employment
