What you’ll be Doing
- Provide strategic leadership by partnering with founders, VPs, and product directors to define and drive the long-term design vision and product strategy.
- Lead by example in hands-on craft, creating process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that set the standard for quality.
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of 2-3 high-potential designers, focusing on elevating their craft and guiding their career growth.
- Champion the value of design across the organisation, working seamlessly with engineering, product, and data leads.
- Evolve the design system to support rapid scaling while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Establish and refine design processes to ensure speed and precision.
Who we are Looking for
- Significant experience (8+ years) in product design within an early-stage, high-growth startup environment.
- Proven track record of leading design teams and influencing organisational strategy.
- Expertise in Figma and modern design tools.
- Strong understanding of systems thinking, information architecture, and prototyping complex workflows.
- Ability to balance perfection with speed, delivering high-quality work iteratively.
