We are seeking a Global Logistics Operations - Customs & Compliance Manager to join our team in Hanoi City, Hà Nội, Vietnam. This is a full-time onsite role.
As a Global Logistics Operations - Customs & Compliance Manager, you will apply advanced Customs Operations and Compliance knowledge to solve complex business issues and be regarded as a subject matter expert. You will frequently contribute to the development of new ideas and methods, work on complex problems, and lead or provide expertise to functional project teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end customs broker operations across Vietnam, ensuring seamless and legally compliant clearance for all imports and exports
- Monitoring, reviewing, and executing all regulatory activities, leading internal and external audits to maintain fully compliant and zero-penalty operations
- Leading broker performance management reviews, establishing strict performance metrics (KPIs), and enforcing regional vendor governance
- Proactively auditing and resolving import duty/tax or customs invoice discrepancies while leading strategic revenue optimization initiatives
- Securing and maintaining critical import/export licenses and leading local Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification initiatives
Requirements:
- First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred
- Typically 6-15 years of experience in a Customs Operations and Compliance function
- Broker's license and/or additional experience in a logistics/global trade function though not mandatory
