About the Role
In this role, you will build and run the creative and advertising operations system that powers OpenAI’s paid marketing programs. You will connect Creative and Growth Marketing teams, establish clear processes for producing and launching high-quality ads, and keep the operational details behind paid campaigns organized, accurate, and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage the end-to-end paid creative operating system, including creative intake, briefing, production, asset delivery, approvals, trafficking, launch, reporting, and iteration.
- Serve as the day-to-day connector between Creative, Brand, Growth Marketing, agencies, and production partners, keeping priorities and timelines clear and on track.
- Partner with Growth Marketing to build and maintain creative testing roadmaps, translating campaign goals, audience insights, and performance data into briefs, hypotheses, test plans, and clear success metrics.
- Develop and maintain the tools and processes that keep creative production organized, including asset libraries, production calendars, naming conventions, tagging, version control, specifications, and documentation.
- Track creative test results, document learnings, and partner with Growth Marketing and Creative to identify what is working, what needs to change, and what should be tested next.
- Continuously improve workflows, templates, reporting, and automation to increase creative throughput, reduce errors, and make paid marketing operations more efficient and reliable.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in creative operations, growth or performance marketing, integrated marketing, or a related role supporting paid marketing programs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and operational rigor, with a track record of owning high precision work in either creative or campaign operations.
- Experience building or improving creative production workflows, project trackers, asset libraries, approval processes, and other systems that help teams execute consistently.
- Hands-on familiarity with major paid advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, or LinkedIn, including campaign trafficking, asset requirements, and launch QA.
- Working knowledge of marketing tracking and measurement, including UTMs, pixels, conversion events, platform reporting, and basic campaign or creative performance analysis.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, keep stakeholders aligned, surface risks early, and follow through on details.
- Clear written and verbal communication, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to turn growth priorities into actionable briefs, testing plans, and next steps.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment and a proactive, resourceful approach to solving problems.
