Description
Leidos Defense Systems Electrical Manufacturing is seeking an Inventory Kitting Specialist to join its team in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate will support the manufacturing of electrical and mechanical components.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform cycle counting
- Stock and track components
- Fulfil requests for materials
- Use corporate accounting software for inventory actions
- Assemble kits for manufacturing
- Serialize and mark components
- Support materials audits and maintain cleanliness and organization
- Demonstrate strong personal organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED with at least one year of relevant inventory control experience
- Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to work with department leadership to contribute to strategic planning and long-term vision for the stockroom team
- Valid driver's license and sufficient driving record for delivery and pickup activities
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
- US Citizen with Final Secret Clearance or eligible to obtain/maintain Secret Clearance

- Implementation of tracking system for parts that are temporarily located at internal or external assembly locations
- Ability to maintain workplace cleanliness with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
The pay range for this position is $35,750.00 - $64,625.00.
