Description
We're seeking an Underwriter – Commercial to join our Brisbane team. You'll develop technical underwriting skills across Financial Lines, General Liability, and Accident & Health, while building relationships with brokers and managing a diverse range of risks.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and service an SME renewal portfolio using DUAL Webrater
- Build and maintain strong broker relationships through regular engagement and proactive communication
- Respond to broker enquiries and provide timely underwriting support
- Develop underwriting knowledge and technical expertise across multiple product lines
- Support business development activities through broker outreach and relationship building
The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of insurance experience, preferably in a policy administration, insurance administration, or assistant underwriting role. You should possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging brokers by phone, and excellent customer service, organisation, and attention to detail.
