Description
We are seeking a BIM Technician to join our team in Pasig City, National Capital Region, Philippines.
As a BIM Technician, you will produce BIM models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services using Revit MEP. You will work closely with project engineers and CAD managers to agree on drawing strategies, priorities, and deadlines. Your responsibilities will also include preparing design drawings, plant room layouts, and coordinated services drawings.
Key responsibilities:
- Producing BIM models for MEP services using Revit MEP
- Preparing design drawings for MEP services using AutoCAD
- Creating plant room layouts, sections, and details
- Coordinating with project engineers and CAD managers on priorities and deadlines
- Inputting to the coordination of engineering services on projects
- Developing general arrangement drawings and sketches
- Discussing and agreeing on setting out and building services details with team members
- Completing design sketches for tender documents
- Producing work to specified WSP CAD standards
- Sharing knowledge and best practices with teammates
- Following QA, document control, and CDM guidelines
- Assisting senior BIM technicians and coordinators with task analysis
- Participating in training activities to extend and share knowledge
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Vocational course in Engineering or equivalent
- Working towards engineering registration within jurisdiction
- Typically, 3-4 years of experience
- Ability to undertake key technical tasks independently
- Developing 3D Revit skills
- Demonstrated ability to apply company standards, BIM protocol, and process
- Good communication skills
- Conversant in construction methodology and project delivery methods
