Pharmacy Processing Technician

Help patients take an important step forward building their families as a Pharmacy Processing Technician with Freedom Fertility, Evernorth's fertility pharmacy. You'll help process medication orders, so patients receive the fertility medications they need accurately and on time.

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting pharmacy services by processing medications, working with insurance companies, and communicating with patients as needed
• Keeping accurate records by recording and filling patient prescriptions and orders
• Answering questions and responding to requests from facility managers and teammates, and directing questions to a pharmacist when needed
• Following rules, procedures, and safety guidelines to help keep the pharmacy clean and safe
• Completing record-keeping and other administrative tasks assigned by a pharmacist or facility manager
• Handling patient calls

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of pharmacy technician work experience
• Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License required by state laws. National certification strongly preferred.
• General computer, data entry, and Microsoft office skills
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication skills

This role is anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan. The hourly rate for this position is $18 - $27 USD, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
