At Morgan & Morgan, we're seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our growing practice in San Antonio, Texas.
As a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney, you will handle motor vehicle liability and automobile accident cases in litigation, representing plaintiffs in San Antonio and surrounding areas in Texas. Your responsibilities will focus on litigating cases, including trial preparation and trial, but will not include pre-suit matters.
Our law firm offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary, non-recoverable draw, and standard commission fees/bonuses, as well as a full benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Handle litigation cases on a day-to-day basis
- Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
- Guide plaintiff clients through the case process
- Interact with expert witnesses, including conferences and drafting expert reports and affidavits
- Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
Qualifications:
- Law degree (J.D./JD/Juris Doctor) from a fully accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association in Texas
- Ideally 3+ years of Personal Injury/auto liability/MVA experience
- Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
