Description
We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join the team at The Blackheath Hospital, part of Circle Health Group. This bank role involves working on an 'as and when required' basis to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing high-quality patient-centred care and meeting the needs of patients, consultants, and colleagues. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing patient-centred care as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Maintaining and enhancing customer service and satisfaction under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner
- Demonstrating competence in the role of Imaging Assistant within the scope of working areas
- Complying with all relevant mandatory training
To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role
- Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations
- Care Certificate
- NVQ Level 1 and/or willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent
- Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence
Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £15.00 per hour, depending on level of experience, training, and qualification.
