Description
We are seeking a National Business Manager for our Consumer Business Group in Australia. As a leader in the hardware channel, you will represent 3M's consumer goods brands such as Command, 3M, Scotch, Post-it, Scotch-Brite, and Scotch Guard.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering on channel/customer financial commitments, including sales, margin, and price. You will formulate and implement customer strategies and plans, lead annual customer plans and joint business plans with top customers, and drive execution of channel and distribution initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering on channel/customer financial commitments
- Formulating and implementing customer strategies and plans
- Leading annual customer plans and joint business plans with top customers
- Driving execution of channel and distribution initiatives
- Ensuring implementation of area portfolio strategy and priority programs
- Managing customer price attainment and rebates
- Reviewing and optimizing customer plans and performance
- Analyzing internal and external data to identify growth opportunities
- Facilitating cross-functional collaboration and alignment between sales and marketing
The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary education in Business or a related field
- Proven track record of success in channel/national account management
- Strong commercial, financial acumen, and net sales management/responsibility
- Experience from relevant retail customers is highly desired
- Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver on targets
- Data analytics and decision-making skills
