Priory Hospital Ayr Clinic has an opportunity for a Charge Nurse in Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing to join our team.
Ayr Clinic, located in Ayr, is a low secure mental health service for males and females with a mental health diagnosis and/or personality disorder. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
The Charge Nurse provides senior nursing leadership within the ward team, working closely with the Ward Manager to ensure high standards of care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in an on-call rota with the Ward Managers and Charge Nurses
- Providing senior nursing leadership within the ward team
- Working closely with the Ward Manager to ensure high standards of care
The role requires:
- Active Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council in Mental Health/Learning Disability Nursing
- Minimum of 18 months post-registration experience within a clinical speciality
- Demonstrable expertise within a clinical speciality, with evidence of strong and visible positive leadership skills
