Description
As a Customer Delivery Driver at Waitrose & Partners in Hereford, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality produce and exceptional customer service to our customers' doors.
You will be driving a well-equipped, modern, and well-serviced vehicle, with safety being one of our top priorities. Your day will involve interacting with customers, handling products with care, and contributing to the efficient running of the shop.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with customers
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues promptly
- Ensuring safe and efficient delivery of products
- Conducting vehicle safety checks and maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
- Supporting the wider CFC team with general warehouse tasks
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full, valid UK manual car driving license (B-Category) with no more than 6 penalty points
- Excellent people skills and a friendly approach to customer service
- Physical ability to lift crates, walk up stairs, and move large cages (approximately no heavier than 18kg)
In addition to your contractual pay of £14.31 per hour, you will also receive a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for any time worked between 22:00 and 06:00.
The role offers varied hours of full-time work across seven days, including every other weekend.
