As an Inventory Attorney in our Complex Litigation group, you'll be the operational backbone of an assigned tort, translating the legal team's strategy into the workflows, deadlines, and deliverables that move thousands of cases forward.
You'll work directly with the Chief Operations Counsel, mentoring paralegals, and making sure no client falls through the cracks. You'll be the person who knows the litigation inside and out and you’ll make sure the machinery around it runs exactly right.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full deadline lifecycle , pre-filing through post-filing , across a large case inventory, with escalation protocols that actually work
- Ensure filing readiness at scale: documentation, pre-filing requirements, and strategic case selection decisions
- Execute discovery workflow: track responses, manage deficiency follow-ups, and maintain compliance across hundreds or thousands of matters simultaneously
- Maintain court rules, filing protocols, and jurisdiction-specific requirements , you're the quality control checkpoint
- Support motion practice workflows, pleadings support, and trial preparation on the operational side
- Mentor a team of paralegals and case managers to improve their skills
- Focus on the client experience , keeping people informed, managing expectations, and delivering clarity and empathy
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of litigation experience and a J.D.
- Experience working in complex or high-volume litigation environments
- Understanding of federal and state procedures , motion practice, discovery, trial, appellate
- Organizational skills to manage real chaos
- Comfortable with CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and ideally Litify
- Leadership skills without losing sight of details
- Bar admission in at least one U.S. state required
