Description
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to represent AVL in the market, serving as a competent partner for major strategic customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for assigned accounts to achieve business objectives in the target market.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing strategic plans for assigned accounts
- Managing sales plans and revenue forecasts for assigned accounts
- Identifying growth and diversification opportunities with customers
- Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers
- Coordinating customer communication and activities
- Conducting meetings with customers and stakeholders
- Supporting commercial activities until final payment
- Providing input for commercial offer preparation
- Approving and negotiating offers and contracts
- Monitoring and analysing customer performance
- Ensuring compliance with AVL sales processes
- Supporting business development activities related to emission calibration projects
Requirements:
- University degree with a technical or economic focus
- Driving licence
- Experience in B2B sales or commercial management
- Experience in business development with strategic customers, particularly OEM automotive and Tier 1 suppliers
- Technical knowledge of emission calibration processes and exhaust gas aftertreatment systems is a plus
- Excellent English language skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to manage and coordinate people
- Availability for frequent travel
We offer:
- Indicative starting compensation: 43,000 €/year
- Final offer determined based on experience, skills, and level of responsibility
