Manufacturing Engineer (Associate or Experienced)

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support Air Dominance production engineering in Mesa, AZ.

Job Summary As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies. You will work closely with an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to integrate technical solutions and develop conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies
• Participate as a member of an IPT in the integration of technical solutions
• Work with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build
• Assist in implementing manufacturing plans
• Resolve technical problems and assist in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
• Assist in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies
• Interface with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
• 2+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education
• Experience supporting stabilization and improvement efforts in a manufacturing setting

Pay Range

• Level 2 (Associate): $85,000 - $115,000
• Level 3 (Experienced): $103,700 - $140,300
